Corey sets the long-term direction and strategy for Hansen Mechanical, as well as for our sister company Dynalectric Nevada. He works across both companies to help ensure our teams have the necessary resources to achieve success. His leadership helps our talented organizations build some of the most difficult and complex projects in Las Vegas.
Expertise
Corey started his contracting career in Las Vegas after graduating from Purdue University with a bachelor’s degree in construction management. He joined Hansen Mechanical in 2002 as a Project Manager, heading some of the largest and most complex projects in the city, including multiple hotel-casinos, theaters, high-rise condominiums, and timeshare towers.
Using the skills learned during these projects, Corey progressed through our organization, working in both the operations and preconstruction departments, before being promoted to President in 2013. In 2015, Hansen and Dynalectric Nevada were strategically moved under one roof, enabling us to deliver a comprehensive, integrated mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) scope for our clients. At this time Corey took an active role in the management of Dynalectric Nevada as its Vice President, before becoming President and Chief Executive Officer of both organizations in 2018.
Corey holds contracting licenses in four different classifications: electrical, plumbing and heating, refrigeration and air conditioning, and general engineering and general building.
The Personal Side
Corey enjoys spending time with his wife and son. They love to travel, especially anywhere near the water. He also enjoys playing golf, mountain biking, fishing and snowboarding.
